Hall of Fame
Named an NJCAA All-American in 1971 after leading the Ferrum basketball team to two consecutive berths in the NJCAA National Tournament. Named captain and team MVP of the 1971 Panthers and twice earned regional tourney MVP honors. Two-time SEC All-Academic selection and captain of the 1973 squad at the University of Tennessee, earning All-SEC honors his senior year. Signed as free agent in 1974 with the Dallas Cowboys as offensive back on kick-off and punt return coverage. Began his business career in 1975 in life insurance sales before rising to the executive level. Currently an account executive with the advertising firm of L.M. Berry & Co.
