Named National Junior College Athletic Association Lineman of the Year and NJCAA All-American as captain of 1968 Shrine Bowl junior college national championship game. Went on to earn numerous national honors at Georgia Tech where he was named co-captain of the Kodak All-American team; selected to eight All-America teams; named Outstanding Lineman in the Sun Bowl; selected as a Lombardi Award finalist; given the Swede Neilson Award from the Gridiron Club of Boston; and named Georgia Amateur Athlete of the Year by the Atlanta Journal. Holds a place on Georgia Tech’s “100 Year Team” as one of Tech’s best players ever in a century of football. Played football professionally with the Hamilton Tigercats of the Canadian Football League. Managing partner of Perdoni Brothers Construction Co. for more than 20 years.
