Played football two years at Ferrum under Hank Norton * starting safety and punt returner for coach Hank Norton’s 1966 and 1967 teams * member of Ferrum’s 1966 National Championship Runner-Up team * named Executive Director of Central Virginia-Lynchburg YMCA in 1975, promoted to General Director in 1978 * named Executive Director of International Management Council in 1975 * received Honorable Discharge in 1978 from Lynchburg Army Reserve after 10 years service * named Executive Director of Bedford YMCA in 1987 * named Treatment Program Supervisor of Buckingham Correctional Center in 2006 * 1999 Buckingham Correctional Center Employee of the Year * 15 years involvement with Lynchburg Host Lions Club and Bedford Lions Club * Board of Directors, Big Brothers & Sisters of Central Virginia * Past Alumni Fundraiser for Ferrum College in the Lynchburg area.
